Biodynamic Cranial Touch-The Initiatory Course
Still the body, still the mind, still the voice inside; in silence, feel the stillness move.Dear friends, this feeling cannot be imagined. -Kabir
This class is a 4 day introduction to the approach of biodynamic work as presented by Charles Ridley in his book, Stillness. Through the transmission of this practice
we, and our clients, open to encounters with primary respiration of the Breath of
Life. The course is designed for you to progressively recognize, develop and
maintain direct connection to the Breath of Life, which, according to biodynamic
cranial philosophy, is the power that made the body, heals the body and evolves
consciousness.
Milne Institute formerly offered this class as Beyond the Stillpoint, the original name
given to it when Charles was developing this approach. I have had the fortunate
honor to continue it and the name change simply reflects the crystallization of his
approach into a formal teaching.
For students and practitioners of the Visionary Approach who have already been
presented a foundation in the full spectrum of mechanical, functional and
biodynamic principles, this class serves as a deepening and clarification of that
which is more purely defined as biodynamic craniosacral. It serves as a stand alone
class as well as prerequisite to further study in the Dynamic Stillness school of
Charles Ridley – www.dynamicstillness.com.
Students and practitioners from outside the Milne Institute are also welcome. I am
called to honor craniosacral lineage and history in how I present this class and it is
also true that one does not necessarily need to be a craniosacral practitioner to
experience, integrate and transmit the qualities and principles of the work. “This
too is true.” Acceptance is by interview with me.

This is the kind of friend you are. Without making me realize my soul’s anguishedhistory, you slip into my house at night and while I am sleeping you silently carry off allmy suffering and sordid past in your beautiful hands.
